Monga Treasure Hunters 2024 Parent-Child Tour Guide Learning Camp

Wanhua, commonly known as Monga, was an important commercial and trade center in the early days because of its location at the intersection of streams and excellent water transportation conditions. As time goes by, it has become a historical district that integrates multiple cultures and is rich in treasures. This project was jointly created by the Youth Phase I and the cross-base partners of Juguang Social Housing. It hopes to plant a small seed of environmental protection culture in the hearts of children through parent-child learning, expression practice and accumulation of local cultural stories, as well as various hand-made experience activities that feel the warmth of the palm and connect with Monga culture. With the irrigation of the heart, it will gradually grow and flourish and stretch out green branches. After a solid hands-on experience in the co-learning course, four groups of parent-child tour guides were arranged to provide guided tour services, allowing the children to appreciate the essence and charm of Monga culture.

｜Training Target｜15 pairs of parents and children of 4th-8th grade students in elementary and middle schools in Taipei City after the summer vacation (Monga School and Wanhua Community Housing will be given priority)) ｜Training Date｜ Required -2024/8/24, 9/28, 10/26, 11/23, 12/28, 2025/1/18, 6/28

｜Internship Date｜ Elective -2025/2/15, 3/22, 4/26, 5/31 (Choose one to lead) ｜Training Time｜14:00-17:00 (3~4 hours depending on the class schedule of the day) ｜Training Fee｜This program is subsidized by the Taipei City Department of Urban Development, but a deposit of NT$2,000 is required (NT$1,000 deposit for low-income households with ID), which will be fully refunded after completing 7 training courses and 1 leading session.
